K2 Meter A K2 Meter is a hand held device that is used to detect Magnetic Fields. Like other E.M.F. Detectors, the K2 Meter uses an indicator to inform the user the level of the Magnetic Field that it is detecting. The K2 Meter is unique in the fact that it uses lights for its indicator. The lights are used to the Investigator's advantage as a form of communication. Some say that by asking a question, you can get a "Spirit" to interact and respond by making the lights light up in different sequences.
	Infrared Camera Infrared Cameras are designed to be able to see images that the human eye cannot detect, more specifically, that can see in 0.0 LUX lighting, meaning absolutely no light. These cameras are equipped with special LED lights that give off a light source that is darker then red, hence the name Infrared. The light source is so low, that it is able to contrast with the dark environment that surrounds the camera and instead of "Whiting Out" the lens, it allows the camera to detect and portrait an almost perfect image. In most cases, when using an Infrared camera, the illusion given back to a monitor is tinted with a greenish color. The camera works great in detecting shadows and mist that is easily missed by the human eye.
	Digtal Audio Recorder Digital Audio Recorders are used much like Infrared Cameras in the sense that they are able to detect something that a human can't. A lot of sounds are given off at a pitch, or tone, that is either too high or low for the human ear to hear. The Digital Audio Recorder will record these sounds and allow an investigator to play them back at a level that can be heard. With Digital Recorders, the audible noise given off from the device is virtually eliminated so as not to disrupt the recording session.
	Digtal Thermometer Digital Thermometers are used to detect temperature changes that can be associated with "Spirits". The common misconception is that when you feel a "cold spot", or even pick up a reading from one on a digital thermometer, that there is a "ghost" in that spot. In most cases, if a "spirit" is present, then what you are getting is an area where a "spirit" is trying to draw energy from to manifest itself. All energy gives off a heat source, so if something is trying to pull that energy from the spot that it is in, a noticeable lack or drop of temperature will be present. A spot where the temperature is colder and rising to a warmer degree, is more likely to be where a "spirit" is manifesting at.
